Joseph White recently graduated from the Coast Guard's officer candidate school in New London, Conn. Attending his ceremony were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth White of Rusk, his wife, Julie and their two sons, Carson, 3, and Shane, 4. His first assignment will be assisting Homeland Security in Houma, La.
