Rusk Street crewmen, Doug Byfield, Greg McDuff and Howard King pour and level the new concrete for the sidewalk along Fourth Street, from the corner of South Barron Street. Transit Mix of Jacksonville provided the concrete. Street Supervisor Neill Holcomb said the sidewalk needed maintenance after tree roots broke the walkway's surface and made it uneven. "It was a safety hazard," Mr. Holcomb said.
