Champion market steer brings $3,700 at auction

Natalie Truett was crowned the 2013 Cherokee County Junior Livestock Show Queen Saturday afternoon during ceremonies at the Will A. Lewis Exposition Center in Jacksonville. The Wells FFA chapter was named the outstanding club of the year. Overall, the show raised almost $245,000. Funds are used for maintenance and upkeep of the show barn.
