Festivities honor veterans, first responders, fire, police, families

The traveling Vietnam Wall arrived in Rusk Nov. 1 on a journey through East Texas. Escorting the caravan were veterans groups on motorcycles and in vehicles. The wall was a part of the Lone Star Military Resource Group's Military Appreciation Nov. 1-4 at K.E. Bushman's in Bullard. Approximately 2,500 persons visited the display and program during the showing in Bullard. Plans are to bring the wall back to the area next year.
