Alyssa Marks-Halbert receives her degree in graduation ceremonies Dec. 14 at Texas A&M University. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Bill Marks of Rusk. Her husband is Stephen Halbert. They reside in Virginia, where he is stationed with the U.S. Air Force.
