Cherokee County Tea Party

Citizens from throughout Cherokee County gathered April 15 (income tax due date) for a Tea Party at the Norman Activity Center in Jacksonville, to voice opposition to higher taxation. More than 400 persons signed a petition to be sent to Washington D.C. opposing higher taxes.
