County leaders set Oct. 10 meeting
RUSK – The Cherokee County Commissioners’ Court will convene 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, in regular session to discuss the following agenda items:
• Consider/approve Sheriff’s Office to purchase vehicles through Silsbee Ford using Tips Procurement
• Consider/approve Sheriff’s Office to purchase one Durango through Tips Procurement Program using Jail Commissary account
• Consider/approve the purchase of four Dodge Durangos through the Tips Procurement
• Consider approval of agreement for funding of 9-1-1 Data Base Maintenance Activities
• Request Commissioners’ Court consider ad approve services of WEX for the administration of a cafeteria play for county employees, which would include flexible spending accounts (FSAs)
• Consider approval of placing Bond Supervision Department under Adult Probation – Brandon Sheeley
• Consider approval of resolution authorizing Home Delivered Meal Grant program
• Consider approval for Juvenile Probation to trade-in a 2006 Chevrolet Express Van as surplus equipment for trade allowance toward the purchase of a new vehicle, with funding provided from the American Rescue Plan
• Discuss/possibly award, reject or take any other action regarding Cherokee County’s request for proposal (RFP) for motor grader for Cherokee County Precinct #4 (RFP #2023-08)
• Consider approval of nomination to the 2023-24 CCAD Board of directors
• Consider approval of the 2024 Cherokee County Resolution regarding the Indigent Defense Formula Grant Program that is administered by the Texas Indigent Defense Commission
• Consider approval of consent agenda
