Patricia Ann Hogue

Patricia Ann Hogue, 76 of Alto, passed away September 5, 2023 in Tyler. She was born October 15, 1946 in Dallas, TX. She graduated from W.W. Samuell High School, Dallas, TX in 1964. She married the love of her life, Marlin Hogue June 24, 1964 in Dallas. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2021. They met when they were 12 and 13 years old & were inseparable ever since.

She enjoyed taking trips with her family, listening to music, especially old country & country gospel, keeping her friends on Facebook updated with how proud she was of her husband & her family, and finding a good bargain at a thrift store.

Mrs. Hogue is survived by her daughter: Lavonia Tsougarakis and husband George of Alto; daughter-in-law: Laura Hogue of Kaufman; grandchildren: Danny Hogue and wife Brittany of Eustess, TX, Courtney Graham and husband Landon of Alto, Greg Tsougarakis of Alto, Garrett Hogue and wife Makayla of Forney, and Jessica Blunt and husband Nathan of Kaufman; eight great grandchildren: Lane, Dean, Riley, Addie, Jaxon, Ella, Marlin and Willow; her best friend of 57 years: George Young of Frost, TX; as well as a number of extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her sons: Marlin Eugene Hogue and Mark Ray Hogue; her mother: Francis Lavonia McCandless and her Nanny and PawPaw: Dewey Eugene McCandless and Bertha Lavonia McCandless. Memorial services to be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Rusk, TX.
