BBQ for Badges

JACKSONVILLE – In appreciation of their efforts toward their communities, area first responders will be treated to a free barbecue meal served to go, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Angelina House, 211 Phillip St. in Jacksonville. The to-go plates include a barbecue sandwich, chips, dessert and beverage. An RSVP to 903-589-1105 will help ensure everyone gets a plate, sponsors said.
