Jerry Neil Warren

A funeral service for Jerry Neil Warren, 72, is scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Bro. Carl Goff officiating. He will be laid to rest at Pierce’s Chapel in Jacksonville.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

He was born on October 14, 1950, to Gay Wesley and Bernice Warren in Jacksonville and passed away on June 3, 2023. Jerry Neil was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and loved serving others. For over 40 years he owned ACE Construction Co. Jerry enjoyed watching classic cartoons, westerns, collecting knifes, fishing, and target shooting.

Jerry Neil was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeremy Warren; sister, Glenda Chamberlain; and brother Arthur Dunn.

Left to cherish Jerry Neil’s memory are his children, Justin Warren and wife Satyra of Rusk, and Kendy Decker and husband Rocky of Jacksonville. His siblings are Lois Goodman and husband Jerry of Dialville, Eddie Dunn of Henderson, and Jackie Dunn of Rusk; and very special friend, Sheryl Tovar of Rusk. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren Everly Grace, Kylie Jo, A.D., Emily, and Elijah; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be A.D. Allen, Eddie Dunn, Keaton Goodman, Wade Durrenberger, Dakota Durrenberger, and Kyler Durrenberger. Honorary pallbearers are Eray Milstead, Lacy Willcox, George Burton, Thomas Adams, Vic Whadford and Ricky Sadler.

Rather than customary condolences, the family ask memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Rusk at 449 W. 6th Street or Good Samaritan Food Bank of Rusk at 190 W. 2nd Street, Rusk, TX 75785.
