Authorities search for man who bolts from courthouse

RUSK - Local authorities have launched a search for a Rusk man who bolted from the Cherokee County Courthouse about 10 AM Wednesday morning during a Miranda hearing.

According to Sheriff Brent Dickson, Christopher Shepherd, 33, is not considered armed and dangerous at this time, but has two active warrants for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for burglary.
