Craft Turney WSC Boil Water Notice For Hwy 69 South
Due to a water distribution system main line repair today, Feb 19,2022, on Hwy 69 South between intersection of 69 S and CR 1616 and The top of Seven Mile Hill , The Texas Commission on Environmental Quallity has required the public water supply to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption(e.g. washing hands / face brushing teeth, drinking water, etc.) . Children, seniors, and persons with weekends immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and Al customers should follow these directions. To ensure destruction of harmful bacteria and other microbes,water for drinking,cooking,and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought tow vigorous rolling boilandtjen boil for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from another suitable source for human consumption purposes.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption.
