County precinct chairman applications now open

Individuals interested in serving as a precinct chair person for either the Democratic or Republic party may contact the Cherokee County party chairperson to learn more about running for the position.

Applications are being accepted through Feb. 12, and several offices have not had anyone file for them, said Josie Schoolcraft, local candidate.
