Bevia L. Sides

A graveside service for Bevia L. Sides, age 85, of Rusk was at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Atoy Cemetery with Rev. Mike Bradford officiating.

Mrs. Sides passed away January 17, 2022. She was born December 10, 1936 in Atoy, TX, to the late Orbie and Leona Helm Loden. Mrs. Sides was a resident of Rusk most of her life and was a member of the Atoy Baptist Church. She loved quilting, sewing, cooking and raising grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Oland Sides; daughter, Sharlott Prince; son Hershel Sides; brother, Burnice Loden; and great-grandson Myson. She is survived by granddaughters, Amanda Prince of Rusk, Alicia Neal of New Summerfield, TX; two grandsons, Adam Prince of Jacksonville, TX, D’Angelo Blakemore of Rusk; granddaughter Erica Anderson of Rusk; six great-grandchildren including Tyrese Prince, Niko Prince, Isiah Mallord, Jayda Prince, Elyssa Prince and Nolan Prince; and great-great granddaughter Alona Prince.
