JISD board to discuss hire of AD/head football coach

JACKSONVILLE – Local school board members will meet in executive session 6:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, at the JISD Administration Building, 800 College Ave., to discuss the hire of an athletic director/head football coach for the upcoming school year at Jacksonville ISD.

According to a meeting agenda, the board is expected vote in regular session on the hire of the new employee that will succeed Wayne Coleman, who announced at the end of the 2021 football season that he will retired at the end of the school year.
