Rusk, Jacksonville Chamber banquets on tap this month

CHEROKEE COUNTY – Chambers of Commerce in Rusk and Jacksonville are preparing for their annual banquets in upcoming weeks, in which members will be recognized for their contributions.

On Jan. 15, “A Stroll Down Memory Lane” will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Rusk Civic Center, 555 Euclid St. Tickets are $40 per person or $320 per table, with reservations due by Friday, Jan. 7, according to Chamber officials.

Tickets may be purchased through paypal.me/ruskchamber or paid for in person at the Chamber office, 184 N. Main St. by 5 p.m. Jan. 12.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce will host its 97th annual Chamber banquet, 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at The Legacy, 782 CR 1511 in Jacksonville. A hospitality room will open at 5:15 p.m.

Tickets are $45 Chamber members, $50 non-members or $500 for a reserved table of eight.
