Hood announces candidacy for Precinct 2 JP
Amber Hood
I would like to announce my candidacy for Justice of the Peace Precinct #2. I have been employed as the Court Clerk for Precinct 2 for the last 15 years working under the former Judge Teresa Phifer and current Judge Tony Johnson. I am a certified Justice Court Clerk through the Texas Justice Court Training Center, where I receive continued education every year. I am a graduate of Rusk High School. I have obtained an associates degree from Tyler Junior College and am currently working toward a Bachelor of Business Administration from Purdue University.
I am a lifelong resident of Rusk. I live in the Hudson Chapel community with my husband, Dustin, and our daughter, Sidney.
I am experienced in every duty of the office and believe my training has prepared me for the position of Justice of the Peace in Precinct #2. I have enjoyed working for the citizens of Precinct 2 and look forward to serving you for many more years. I would appreciate your support and vote in the upcoming Republican Primary election.
