Pedestrian accident sends woman to hospital

NEW SUMMERFIELD – A pedestrian accident in New Summerfield late Sunday afternoon has sent an accident victim to an area hospital for treatment.

The accident took place "not too far from the intersection" of Highways 79 and 110, said New Summerfield Police Chief Fred Butler, who added that few details were available at the time. "I believe it was a female that was taken to the hospital."
