Rusk ISD trustees to meet Monday

RUSK – School board members will cast votes for Cherokee County Appraisal District board of directors representation during a 6 p.m. meeting at the district training center, 199 Eagle Dr. in Rusk.

A meeting agenda states this is one of two action item during the meeting, with other being a vote on a consent agenda that features meeting minutes and a review of RISD’s financial update.

Various reports also will be delivered during the meeting, along with “Team of 8” training. Trustees also will meet in closed session, with action on any items discussed during closes session to be taken after the board resumes into open meeting, as per state government code.
