Nov. 11 Veterans Day closures in Cherokee County

Federal offices and services will be closed Thursday in observance of the national Veterans Day holiday Nov. 11, as will many banking and financial institutions.

In Cherokee County, all county government offices will be closed Thursday, as will municipal offices in Rusk, Alto and Wells.

City offices in Jacksonville and New Summerfield will be closed Friday in observance of Veterans Day.

Among those remaining open Nov. 11 are Reklaw City Hall and The Cherokeean Herald news offices.
