‘Little Women’ to grace CCT stage

Coming soon to Cherokee Civic Theatre: “Little Women,” adapted by Scott Davidson from Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel!
“I'm so excited for Opening Night,” said Josie Fox, who is directing the play produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Denver, Colorado.
“The cast has poured so many hours into bringing their characters to life on stage, and it has been an absolute joy watching the journey,” she said. “I would also like to acknowledge all the hard work and time away from home that our crew and volunteers have put in to help bring this production together”

The play will be staged at the 157 W. 5th St. theatre in Rusk, 7:30 p.m. nightly, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 8-9, with a 2 p.m. matinee planned Sunday, Oct. 10.

Seating is limited, and organizers are encouraging attendees to purchase their tickets as soon as possible. Online tickets are available now. CCT Box Office hours will be from 3-4 p.m. Oct. 6-8.

If you aren’t satisfied with just watching the shows and want to get involved in a cast or crew, join us on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 11-12 at 6:30 p.m. to audition for “A Christmas Story,” directed by Judy Faye Garner!
