Steve "S.L." Goff

A graveside service for Steve “S.L.” Goff, age 82, of Dialville, is scheduled at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Rocky Springs Cemetery in Dialville. Bro. Don Copeland will officiate. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

S.L. passed away on September 4, 2021. He was born in Maydelle on June 11, 1939 to Steve and Darcella Faye (McCreight) Goff. He was a member of Hollaman Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Maydelle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Clara Mae Jones.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Louise Gilbert Goff of Dialville; son, Steve Goff and wife Cindy of Maydelle; and daughter, Linda Johns and husband Keith of Maydelle. He is also survived by his brother, Bobby Gene Goff and wife Sandra of Maydelle; and grandchildren Michael Goff and wife Laura, Kristy Boyd and husband Corey, Christian Thiel and husband Nathan and Matthew Ivy and wife Cecelia; great-grandchildren Ryver Debusk, Ely Boyd, Mariyah Thompson and Alex Folks; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dale Goff, Bryan Goff, Bobby Goff Jr., Michael Goff, Matthew Ivy and Corey Boyd.
