Lorna A. Wallace

Private graveside services for Lorna A. Wallace, 69, of New Summerfield, Texas, will be held on August 27, 2021 at Old Palestine Cemetery, Alto, under the direction of OT Allen and Son Funeral Home. Pastor Robert Simpson will officiate. Lorna entered into eternal life in Tyler, Texas, on Monday August 23, 2021 at 3:00 p. m. She was born September 14, 1951 in Houston, Texas, to Jerry and Alice Ainsworth.

Lorna loved her Lord, her family, her friends, and had a passion to take care of any and all of God’s furry creations.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and father-in-law, Raymond Wallace; two sons, Russell Glenn Powell, and Gregory Allen Wallace; three sisters, Sharla Adkison, Dap Swarthout, and Marylain Miller.

She is survived by her faithful and loving husband of 33 years, Richard Wallace; son, Coy Powell and wife Angie of Henderson; daughter, Jessica Duckworth and husband Mike of League City; son, Brandan Wayne Wallace of Pasadena; mother-in-law, Marie Wallace of Laporte; brother-in-law, Randy Wallace and wife Kelly of Seabrook; brothers, Ray Ainsworth and wife Monica of Jacksonville, Roger Ainsworth and wife Traci of Montgomery; sister, Jerre Prewitt and husband John of Jacksonville; four grandchildren and one great grand child and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
