Downed powerline blocks FM 752 intersection near RHS

RUSK – An area near Rusk High School was inaccessible early Monday afternoon after a logging truck traveling through the area pulled down a power pole, with lines obstructing the roadway near FM 752.

According to Cherokeean publisher John Hawkins, who was traveling through the area when the incident happened, the whole intersection is blocked, and people cannot go north or south on the road.
