A funeral service for Bill Page, of Rusk, was at 2 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Pastor Keith Brooks officiated. He was laid to rest at Lowe’s Chapel Cemetery in Rusk. Visitation was on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Bill passed away on July 5, 2021. He was born in Dallas on November 6, 1957 to Willis Edward and Sammy Jean (McLauchlin) Page.
Bill was a self-employed contractor who was very involved in the community. He loved everyone, never met a stranger. It was important to him to show the love of Jesus and be a great witness. He was the best daddy in the universe and no words can express how much he will be missed.
He was preceded in death by parents; a son, Josh Page; and sisters, Kary Lisa Hill and Deborah Joan Martin.
Left to cherish Bill’s memory are wife, Tamy Page of Rusk; daughters, Abby Steed and husband Derren of Gallatin and Lela Page and husband Jeremy Beaver of Rusk; and son, William Shane Page of Trinity. His brothers are Phillip Edward Page and Wayne Page, both of Wills Point and Donald Patrick of Nacogdoches. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Shane Page, Will Page, Brendon Linderman, Frank Linderman, Lane Sowell, Gavin Page, Derren Steed and Jeremy Beaver. Honorary pallbearers were Donald Patrick, Burt Hataway, Chris Page, Dwayne Page, Doug Stockton, and Carl Smith.
