Patricia L. Hillman

Patricia L. Hillman, age 75, of Rusk passed away July 3, 2021 in Rusk. She was born January 6, 1946 in Jacksonville, TX to the late A.E. “Chief” and E. LaRuth McGregor Helstrom. Ms. Hillman was a member of the Church of Christ, Palestine, TX and retired as a Medical Records Clerk from TDCJ. She enjoyed sewing, painting, spending time with her family, taking care of all kinds of animals and she loved horses, cats and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeffery Lynn Woody and a sister, Jeri LaRuth Campos.

Survivors include her sister; LaRae Helstrom of Frankston, TX; son, Jack Woody Jr. and wife Anita of Rusk; son, Jamye Woody and fiancée Regina of Colorado; son, Dana Hillman of Chandler, TX; daughter-in-law, Mari Hillman of Chandler; special close family friend, Liz Ward Woody of Lake Palestine, TX; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
