Judy Walker

A funeral service for Judy Walker, age 72, of Rusk is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Gates officiating. Burial will follow at Lowes Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Walker passed away May 7, 2021 in Rusk. She was born May 29, 1948 in Alto, TX to the late Walter and May Huggins Knott. She was a loving wife and mother, she cared deeply for her family and always offered to help anyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland Walker; two sons, David Walker and Chad Walker; brothers, Leroy Knott, George (Sonny) Knott; sister, Lucille Johnston. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Katja Walker; and granddaughter, Julie Walker all of Harker Heights, TX; brother, Jerry Knott; sisters, Ruth Haney, Sara Hodges, Joann Hodges, Elizabeth Dunn; brother-in-law, Ernest Johnston; several other grandchildren; and great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include Nicholas Goodman, Joshua Goodman, William Hunt, Conner Hunt, Ryan Harris and Mickey Walker. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the funeral home.
