Rita Ann Parsons

Alto – Funeral services for Rita Ann Parsons, 63, of Alto will be Monday, April 5, at 2 p.m., at the Alto Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Robinson and Rev. Odis Bryan officiating. Burial will be at the Lowes Chapel Cemetery in Rusk. Rita passed away Thursday, April 1, in San Antonio. She was born April 8, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Doyle P. Click and JoAnn Marrs Click. Rita had lived most of her life in Alto and lived in LaVernia, Texas for 15 years. Rita was a member of the Alto Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She graduated from Alto High School in 1975. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jackie Hicks; brother Donnie Click; and grandson James Cooper Low. Rita is survived by husband Chris Parsons of Alto; daughters and sons-in-law Ranita and Steven Crosby of Rusk; and Lisa and Heath Low of Alto; step-children Amy Honeycutt and husband Kenny of Palestine; and Ben Parsons of Kilgore; brother Eddie Click of Alto; sister-in-law Teresa Click of Alto; and grandchildren Charlie Wallace, Jackie Wallace, Blair Low, Brooke Low, Brianna Low, Luke Low, Jaylan parsons, Audrey Parsons and Bayli Honeycutt.

Charlie Wallace, Jackie Wallace, Sammy Click, Jackie Click, Josh Bobbitt and Stephen Bobbitt will be pallbearers. There will be a visitation time from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday at the Church.
