Six years celebrated at local KOA

Rusk KOA Holiday owners Carol and Jack McMullen divvy up an anniversary cake presented March 10, 2021, by their staff in honor of the couple’s seventh anniversary of ownership of the local campgrounds. The site has won local and national awards, hosts a variety of events – including an inaugural music Jamboree in October 2020 – with much more to come.
The KOA recently began support of Rusk’s Good Samaritan Pantry and Thrift Shop by establishing a drop-off box for those who wish to donate canned and other non-perishable foods. In two weeks, local Southern Gospel musician Michael Knight will kick off the KOA’s first ever monthly concert on March 19.
