For a good cause

Junior models practice their stride for the catwalk Saturday, gathering at the Good Samaritan Thrift Store to gear up for an upcoming fashion show benefitting the Rusk entity. Attendees can bid on any of the 60 or so dresses from the show, slated from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at the Rusk Civic Center, 555 Euclid St. A drawing for half a beef is being held in conjunction with the event, with $5 tickets available from the following downtown merchants: Cherokee Parcel Post, The Daily Grind, Chapman’s Pharmacy, The Slab and the Rusk Public Library.
