Katie Reyna

A funeral service for Katie W. Reyna, age 86, of Rusk is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack White officiating. Burial will follow a Lower Cherino Cemetery.

Mrs. Reyna passed away February 19, 2021 in Rusk. She was born October 5, 1934 in San Augustine, TX to the late King and Evelyn Mason Wooten.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ernest Ray Graham, Troy Holloway; daughters, Marilyn Pierce, Ernestine Holloway; brothers, Troy Wooten, Robert McCarty, Buddy McCarty, Richard McCarty, Robert McCarty; sisters, Virginia Sartain and Rachel McCarty. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Basilo Reyna of Rusk; son, David Ray Reppond of Houston, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Leo Ybarra of Groesbeck, TX; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Louise Wooten of Houston, James and Patricia McCarty of Alto, TX; fourteen grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren; special niece, Nancy McCarley of Rusk; beloved dog Bozo and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include Jessie Holloway, Matt Sherman, Billy Holloway, Tyler Holloway, Jason Graham, Kyle Graham, Robby Jones and Troy Holloway. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad McCarly, Cody Smith, Brandon Smith and Bobby Holloway. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, at the funeral home.
