'Adopt a Doll' fundraiser event

Rusk's Good Samaritan Thrift Store is hosting an "Adopt a Doll" fundraiser from 11 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 201 W. 2nd St.

A number of baby dolls are ready for adoption, with fees at $100 and $200 each. There also is a drawing for a side of beef, and a soup line for those who wish to join staff for lunch.

The doll adoption fundraiser is being sponsored by The Slab Ice Cream Shop and Sheltering Arms Coalition, while Dyess Processing is donating the beef.
