Santa serenade

To the delight of Angelina House residents Santa Claus (portrayed by Kirk Sadler of Jacksonville, left) and his crew visited the Jacksonville senior residential center Dec. 9 to spread holiday cheer with classic Christmas carols. This year, because of COVID-19 restrictions, the center’s annual tradition took on a new twist, with singers performing outside the building. Among those caroling alongside Santa and Mrs. Claus were Cherokee County Judge Chris Davis and his wife, Jay Anna (center).
