Rocky Springs MBC, Dialville, Texas are pleased to welcome Bro. Bennie Boles as our new pastor. He and his wife, Debbie, have moved to our community from Weches, Texas. His first Sunday will be Dec. 6, 2020 and we invite everyone to come worship with us. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. with morning worship services at 10:45 a.m.

First United Methodist Church, Rusk is holding Sunday school and church services and even some meetings using the CDC recommendations. We invite you to join us Sunday mornings to worship with us. Our on-line calendar is temporarily disabled due to COVID-19 and uncertain times. We will try to post meetings and/or changes as they become available. DEC. 6

Beginning Sunday, Dec. 6, Children’s Ministry will be held during an 11 a.m. worship service at First United Methodist Church – Rusk. Youths ages 3-12 are invited. The church is located at 255 S. Henderson St.

DEC. 19-20

Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Mission will host a tamale sale the weekend of Dec. 19-20. The deadline to preorder tamales is Dec. 18, with the treats delivered after 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Sunday liturgies on Dec. 19. Contact the church office for more information, 903-683-1862.

A Blue Christmas Service begins at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at Rusk’s First Methodist Church. A blue Christmas Service is a service for those who are carrying pain, hurt or loss during the holiday season. The church is located at 255 S. Henderson St. in Rusk
