County COVID-19 update Nov. 9, 2020
The Cherokee County Public Health Department has confirmed a reported 72 active cases – which includes 31 positive confirmed cases – of COVID-19 in the county. Overall, there have been 2,274 confirmed cases in the county since mid-March, with 381 of those reported in Rusk.
County health officials note that cases are primarily recoveries, which account for 2,180 cases of the overall case count. The fatality rate is at 20.
