Neches Bridge damaged, Highway 79 closed

An 18-wheeler blocks U.S. Highway 79 between Jacksonville and Palestine after an accident Tuesday morning. The wreck pulled up some pavement near the guardrail. TxDOT is working to put temporary guardrail in place before re-opening the bridge sometime around noon Wednesday.
