NOV. 6-7

River of Life Christian Center will host a church-wide parking lot sale, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6-7. The sale includes a number of household items, used building supplies, kitchen items and other goods. A drawing will be held for handmade aprons and Barbie clothing, while a bake sale will be held onsite. The sale will be set up in the back lot of the church, at the corner of 69 and Bonner Street. Proceeds will be used toward paying off the roof note.

NOV. 7

Trail to Christ Cowboy Church will host its "At the Cross Classic" fall show, Saturday, Nov. 7. Check-in is from 6 to 8 a.m., followed by the 9 a.m. show at the Cherokee County Show Barn, 611 E. Loop 456 in Jacksonville. Cost is $25 per entry, with prizes award in the following categories: Steers and heifers, American-English-Exotic, market lambs and goats, market barrow and market gilts. Bethlehem Lutheran Church, across from Palestine High School at 1515 S. Loop 256, celebrates the Twenty-third Sunday of Pentecost on Nov. 8, with Divine Services held at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Bethlehem also has past services posted on YouTube channel, Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church – Palestine. The Neches Small Business Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Neches Baptist Church, 200 Anderson Drive in Neches. Several small businesses from the area will have the perfect Christmas gifts available for visitors!

A Steppin Back in Time gathering begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the J-C Cowboy Church of Cherokee County, located at 9530 FM 855 W in Bullard. Beans, cornbread and fellowship are on the menu.
