County COVID-19 update Oct. 29, 2020
The Cherokee County Public Health Department has confirmed a reported 149 active cases – which includes 28 positive confirmed cases – of COVID-19 in the county.
Overall, there have been 2,158 confirmed cases in the county since mid-March, with 351 of those reported in Rusk.
County health officials note that cases are primarily recoveries, which account for 1,991 cases of the overall case count.
