Free commodities today in Alto

The Alto Food Pantry, 176 San Antonio St., will be offering free commodities today, Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Produce is available at the pantry from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., while milk will be distributed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Chaparral Center, located at the same site.

There also will be a WIC clinic today, from 10 a.m. to  4:30 p.m. at the site.

Pantry registration for monthly food boxes will be held at the pantry, from 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday through Saturday (Oct. 22-24). Recipients must live in Alto and meet eligibility requirements. Please bring a current valid government issued ID and a utility bill showing a 911 address and is dated in the last 30 days. 

The next food box distribution is Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
