Gallatin Fall Fest slated for Saturday UPDATE: Fest cancelled according to Gallatin Mayor Juanita cotton
GALLATIN – A day of fun, food and entertainment is in store at Gallatin’s Fall Festival, slated from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Gallatin Community Center.
Members of the local volunteer fire department will prepare their famous barbecue, selling sandwiches and plates, while vendors with various arts, crafts and handmade items will have booths at the festival. A traditional cake walk, with homemade treats by cooks from the community, is planned, as is a special Putt-Putt golf course for youths – one ticket is good for the whole day at the course, according to organizers.
Drawings will be held for donated gift baskets, as well.
In adhering to government precaution as a response to a national pandemic, visitors and vendors are required to wear face masks, while all events will be held outside to ensure proper social distancing, organizers said.
