NASDAR Chapter to meet Thursday
JACKSONVILLE – The Major Thaddeus Beall Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at the First United Methodist Church, 1031 Loop 456 in Jacksonville.
Bernard J. (Bernie) Lantz of Alto, whose wife is a chapter member, is the program speaker, addressing “Native American Music.” Lantz plays a Native American flute.
Chapter Regent Nedra Buckingham of Mixon announced that yearbooks have arrived and will be available to all members current on their due.
Light refreshments will be served at the meeting, with necessary precautions taken to protect against the coronavirus.
“We are all aware that COVID-19 is a very big issue at this time,” she said, requesting that members wear masks to the meeting. “
