Texas Renaissance Festival to hold annual job faire
Independent vendors will be looking to hire heroes and villains, knaves and royalty, hawkers and minstrels, food and merchandise sales, food prep, games, rides, and more during the Texas Renaissance Festival’s annual job Faire, scheduled for Sept. 5 and 6 at the festival grounds in Todd Mission.
TODD MISSION, Texas – The Texas Renaissance Festival will hold its annual Job Faire on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 5 and 6, at the Texas Renaissance Festival grounds starting at 9 a.m. each day.
The two-day event is an opportunity for vendors to fill their staffing needs for the 2020 season. Different vendors could be on hand each day of the Job Faire, so those interested in securing a spot are encouraged to attend both days.
Be prepared to fill out an application, bring a resume and a face mask as many vendors will hold interviews on site at their shops. If hired, you will be directed to go to the TRF Pass Office for your parking pass and ID, and face masks are required in the pass office.
More than 4,000 jobs make up the Texas Renaissance Festival.
Independent vendors will be interviewing for many positions such as hawkers, food and merchandise sales, food prep, games, rides, and more.
Applicants should be prepared to work nine consecutive weekends, dress in costume, wear a face mask and learn the King’s English.
In season, all TRF staff and Vendor employees will have a temperature screening prior to each shift that will be logged each festival day. Anyone with a fever will be sent home.
Employees who are feeling symptomatic will be asked to stay home. Vendors will be required to follow protocol and policies as provided by Open Texas and the CDC. You can review all of this season’s safety guidelines at texrenfest.com/safety-guidelines.
