Rusk Rural WSC lifts boil water notice
As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, Rusk Rural Water Supply Corporation has lifted the boil water notice for customers on FM 1248 and County Roads 2107, 2109, 2110, 2111, 2115, 2117, 2118, 2119, 2120, 2121 and 2217.
On Aug, 3,2020, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required Rusk Rural WSC to issue a boil water notice to inform customers that due to the presence of contaminants or an interruption in service, water from the system must be boiled prior to consumption.
The system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling. (August 05, 2020)
