County's total confirmed COVID-19 case count rises to 287 -- 178 cases currently active

(July 08, 2020) – Sixteen more cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Cherokee County, bringing the current total to 287. There are currently 179 active cases, of which two are associated with a state facility. Out of the 287 cases, 22 have been associated with a state facility, and 265 have been residents of the county.

Currently there are 179 active cases of the virus in Cherokee County. To date 106 patients have recovered from the illness and two have died.
