Tommy Dosser

Funeral services for Tommy Dosser, 67, of Rusk will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Rusk with Brother Brad Turlington officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Maydelle.

Mr. Dosser passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020, at home with family all around him. He was born August 12, 1952, in Rusk, Texas, to the late Mutt and Lawanda Dosser. He graduated Rusk High School in 1970 and was famous for his love of working on cars. He owned and operated Tommy’s Auto Repair for 20 years. He had a passion for restoring classic Chevrolet vehicles. He also enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Donald Dosser and Larry Dosser.

He is survived by his son, Clint and Mallory Dosser of Rusk; daughter, Leslie and Aaron Lankford of Rusk; grandchildren, Courtnie and Tallulah Lankford, Calah Moake and Sydney Tullis; step-grandson, Peyton Brewer; great-grandchildren, Makinlee, Madalynn, and Roman Moake; brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Dorothy Dosser of Rusk; and sisters, Patsy Prieto of Jacksonville and Mary Beth Hernandez of Jacksonville.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2020, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ray Dosser, Kenneth Dosser, David Westbrook Jr., Derek Westbrook, Darrell Wallace, and Billy Wyvon Lankford Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Norton, Mike Lusk, Bailey Dosser, Richard Accord, Donald Trawick, Melvin Session and Craig Gray.
