Drive-thru communion to be held

First United Methodist Church-Rusk will serve a drive-through communion from 9:30-10:30 a.m., on Palm Sunday, April 5, at the church, 255 S. Henderson St., Rusk. Communion cups are individually wrapped and sealed.

Drive-thru Palm Sunday service planned

First United Methodist Church-Jacksonville will hold a drive-through Palm Sunday service, 1-3 p.m., Sunday, April 5, at the church, 1081 SE Loop 456, Jacksonville.

Cars are to enter the church parking lot from FM 768. There will be one radio station offering blessings and another featuring uplifting music. No need to get out of the vehicle.

The River Church remains open

The River, A Church for Whosoever, continues to hold normal services at both its Alto and Wells locations.. Sunday services include Celebration Service at 10:30 a.m.; Overcomers class at 5 p.m.; and prayer service at 6:30 p.m.

Easter Sunrise service canceled

First Baptist Church-Rusk has announced the church’s annual Easter Sunrise Service at the Texas State Railroad has been cancelled.

Church officials hope to stream last year’s service at 7 a.m. Easter morning.

Churches holding services online

Harmony Baptist Church in Rusk is currently living streaming its Sunday morning services via its Facebook page, in effort to assist in the containment and control of the COVID-19 virus.

Join Grace Fellowship Church in Rusk on live stream at 10:30 a.m. for worship. Join the service on Facebook; at www.gracefellowshiprusk.com; or on the Grace Fellowship mobile app (search “Grace Fellowship - TX).

Reklaw Baptist Church will stream services live on its Facebook page at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Jacksonville’s Kingdom Christian Center is currently streaming online on YouTube and Facebook due to the COVID-19 regulations. Sunday services begin at 10 a.m. at kccministriestx.org/online-giving.

East Side Baptist Church-Jacksonville will be holding drive-in services at 11 a.m. on Sunday for the foreseeable future. All are welcome to attend, at 1100 E. Loop 456, Jacksonville. Church officials request attendees remain in their vehicles to maintain social distancing. Services will also be livestreamed on the church’s Facebook page.

Services canceled

Effective March 26, Wells Christian Fellowship Church’s services are canceled until further notice.

Afton Grove Baptist Church has canceled services until further notice.
