Jacksonville JV tennis Invitational results a mixed bag

Jacksonville junior varsity tennis players competed in an invitational held Tuesday, Feb. 25.

Camden Fontenot placed first in the girls B singles division after defeating opponents from Troup, Henderson, Hudson and Lukfin. In the same division, Elizabeth Hernandez was consolation winner after a loss to Troup and wins against Bullard, Henderson and Jacksonville.

Kanren Mancera was consolation winner in the girls A single division. Cornel Jordan walked away the consolation winner in his boys B singles division when he lost to Whitehouse in the first round, but beat Henderson, Chapel Hill and John Tyler players.
