Traylor seeking re-election for Pct 1 Commissioner

Cherokee County Precinct 1 Commissioner Kelly Traylor is seeking re-election to that position. Traylor says as the senior commissioner on the Court, he brings the experience and knowledge needed on the Commissioner’s Court.

“I have brought honesty and integrity to the Commissioner’s office,” he said. “My business experience gives me the knowledge to manage employees and the budget. I have the compassion to help the constituents and by living in the rural area I understand their county road concerns. I humbly ask for your continued support.”

Traylor understands the importance of serving his community. He is a deacon is his church, Central Baptist Church of Jacksonville. He chairs the Transportation Committee for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. He is a board member of the Tops in Texas Rodeo and a member of the Jacksonville Lions Club.

He has served several local entities, including the Jacksonville Soccer Association, Cherokee County Junior Livestock Show, Jacksonville ISD and is currently president of the Boards of Visitors for Jacksonville College.

He is a member of the Core Legislative Group and serves on the Local Technical Assistant Program board; the East Texas Council of Governments; and the North and East Texas Judges and Commissioner’s Association.
