George “Sonny” Knott

Funeral services for George “Sonny” Knott, 79, of Alto, Texas were Sunday February 9th, 2020 at 2pm at the Alto Missionary Baptist Church. Interment was held at Old Palestine Cemetery. Mr. Knott died Tuesday February 4th in Alto, Texas. He was born September 9th, 1940 in Alto, Texas to Walter and May Bell Huggins Knott. He worked in timber his whole life, he loved to hunt and fish with all his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Charlotte and great grandson Elvis Preston Musick. He is survived by his daughter Georgia Knott of Alto, Texas; brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Jan Knott of Alto; sisters and brother-in-law Ruth Haney, Sarah Hodges, Joann and Dub Hodges, Judy Walker, Elizabeth Dunn; 2 granddaughters Krystal Anthony and Husband Robert Anthony and Jewel Musick and 8 great grandchildren Madison Weatherly, Jacklyn Musick, Alexis Weatherly, Jack Musick, Tara Anthony, Sonny Leroy Musick, David Musick, and Charlotte Cox, and special friend of the family Alice Lambert, and several nieces and nephews.
