The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce recently announced, that for the first time in the 36-year history of the Tomato Fest, a contest has been opened to the public to design the official festival T-shirt. Submitted designs must promote the festival in a creative, modern and eye-catching way. Designs should also be appealing to a wide audience, and must include wholly original artwork that does not include any third-party logos or copyrighted material. The design chosen will be used on the back of the T-shirt and can contain up to two colors, with white and black each counting as a color. Deadline for submissions is Friday, Jan. 31 by 5 p.m.

The 36th annual Tomato Fest will take place on Saturday, June 13 beginning at 8 a.m. on Commerce Street in Jacksonville. Along with the festival, the chamber and area businesses will sponsor multiple events leading up to the festival on Saturday.
